As a passionate LifeLine Counsellor for more than 25 years, as well as a LifeLine Personal Growth & Counselling Skills trainer for more than 15 years, I am passionate about sharing these powerful stills in an 8 week journey through understanding and working with simple yet effective skills to assist people to navigate and shift though challenges and circumstances in their lives.
We cover Empathy, Communication Skills, Listening, the Counselling Model, as well as some more advanced techniques. We also look at some examples of some of the more common life issues for which an individual may seek out a counsellor.
The option of exploring the personal development side prior to embarking on the Counselling Skills Develpementexisits too, and in fact is something I personally encourage as we really need to look at some of our own “stuff” for lack of a better word, some of our perceptions, beliefs, thoughts and feelings around issues, before we put ourselves in a situation where we are ready to guide another through theirs. This component too is an 8 week journey.

9 Rites of Munay-Ki: Shamanic Initiations
The Munay-Ki Rites are the 9 Great Empowerment Rites of Initiation, of the Medicine Way of the Q’ero Nation of Peru. The Shamanic Initiations of the Q’ero Shamans of Peru, descendants of the Inca. Prophecies of the ancient Americas foretell of a period of great transformation, and new humans appearing on the planet – persons who live free of fear and abide in their eternal nature, Homo Luminous.
The Munay-Ki are a series of nine Empowerment rites based on the initiatory practices of the Q’ero shamans of Peru, as taught by anthropologist Alberto Villoldo. “Munay” in Quechua means “love and will”, together with “ki”, from the Chinese word for energy, combine to give the meaning: energy of love. In receiving all 9 Initiation rites, you make create deep direct long-lasting connections to the ancient lineage. The Rites are like seeds, and once you are gifted these Rites, it is up to you to nurture and grow them into fruition. As we learn to see differently and be different, we reconnect with who we really are, connect with who we are becoming.The purpose is to become a person of wisdom and power who has accepted the stewardship of all creation.

Traditionally, it would have taken many years of study before receiving these Rites. The Elders, however, believe that we are now at a critical juncture in human history and that these Rites need to be transmitted to as many people as possible, without the need for lengthy transitions between the Rites.The 9 Rites of the Munay-Ki are energetic transmissions or connections that aim to assist you to shift into a new way of being. They can be viewed as seeds that change the vibration of your energy field and assist you in coming into alignment with your soul’s purpose. The Rites can take months or even years to ‘germinate’ and integrate, and work with and assist you in your spiritual development.
Essential Oils 101
In this fun, interactive 2 hour workshop we explore the basics of Essential Oils. We look at why certain oils may be more useful than others, the difference between synthetically produced and organically sourced oils is, how they are sourced and why that is important. We taste, test, touch and feel various oils, as well as learning about the unique physical and emotional benefits to using good quality organic oils, and how these might support our bodies (our physical well being) as well as our moods and emotions. We jump into to a quick “blending” exercise, and enjoy some treats created with these oils.
You will leave with a basic knowledge to be able to begin to engage with these oils yourself in your daily life.
